We’re thrilled to introduce a new addition to the Hawaii Doggie Bakery Ohana—a covey of quails! Since May of 2024, we’ve been proud owners of Japanese Coturnix Quails. It’s been a fun journey learning how to care for them, as their needs are quite different from our beloved dogs!
We originally got quails to enjoy fresh eggs every morning, and they’ve been incredible. Their eggs are creamier than chicken eggs due to a higher yolk-to-white ratio. Our dogs love these fresh quail eggs, and now we’re excited to share them with you!
Quail eggs are an excellent source of protein and are high in fatty acids, iron, and vitamins B12 and A, which help promote a healthy coat and skin for your pup.
Ingredients: Our Quail Egg Tarts feature a fresh quail egg baked into a biscuit dough crust made with whole wheat flour, cornmeal, and oil.
We recommend enjoying these tarts on the day you pick them up for the best taste and texture.
