March 14th is Pi Day! Why, you may ask? Well it's because of the mathematical constant π!
Pi Day is celebrated annually by some on March 14 since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant figures of π. We have been aspiring to celebrate Pi Day for many years now, however between St. Patrick's Day and Easter we usually don't have the time. But Pi Day Pumpkin Pies are here!!
These Pies are the same recipe as our famous Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pies. We strongly encourage pre-orders, as we are only making a limited amount and for March 14th pick ups only!
The filling is made with pumpkin & eggs, honey, milk and heavy whipping cream.
The biscuit crust is made with whole wheat flour, cornmeal and vegetable oil.
